Policies & Procedures @ The Peach Pit
The Peach Pit is a boutique gymnastics & cheerleading facility where proper attire is required at all times. Proper attire is a gymnastics leotard with no skirt, hair pulled back and bare feet. Micro mini bikers are allowed however longer bike shorts make bars a difficult event and are not advised. We do not allow jewelry, loose hair or oversized clothing. All cheerleaders and tumblers may wear cheer shoes, a sports bra, tight fitting top and cheer shorts or bike shorts. Once again, no jewelry and hair up and pulled back. Please consider keeping your cheerleading shoes clean and only for cheer practice and game use to protect our floors and the longevity of your shoes. Male gymnasts may wear comfortable play clothes without buttons or zippers and bare feet.
For the safety and well being of our athletes, coaches and parents, parent coaching is not allowed @ The Pit. We ask that all parents, toddlers and siblings remain in the provided seating lounges before, during and after each class. All of our coaches are required to take various exams from USA Gymnastics and USASF Credentialing in addition to their coaching experience. We require U101 Fundamentals of Gymnastics, Safesport (Stewards of Children or Darkness to Light may be interchangeable), and cheer coaches have passed written and hands on USASF Levels 1-5 credentialing exams depending not he levels that they coach. All of our staff are required to pass background checks as well to be a part of our team. We ask that parents leave the coaching to the professionals and trust that we have your child's ultimate safety in mind at all times. If you have a question regarding a coaches technique or teaching style, an appropriate time to address that question would be before or after class or in the management office. You may also schedule a private meeting with your coach or a manager outside of regular class time. We understand that it is difficult to keep toddlers and siblings off the floor. We provide books, chalk tables and coloring sheets for children or suggest nearby parks while your child is in class. Thank you for respecting these policies.
Tuition Fees are due MONTHLY on the first of each month based on the class selected. You may pay by cash or check before the 1st of the Month, or you will be charged to the card on file. You may cancel out of class with written notice only to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Cancellations must be made in writing to by the 15th of the previous month, or you will be billed for the following month - NO EXCEPTIONS. No Cancellations for classes will be accepted over the phone without written confirmation.
We offer 10% discount off all siblings and second classes with the exception of competitive programs. Late fees of 15% apply to any account overdue by 7 days. *All athletes and trial enrollments must be registered members of The Peach Pit*
The Peach Pit requires a non-refundable annual $45 membership fee for the first child and $20 thereafter. There is a $75 family maximum. Annual Membership Renewal are due January 1st and will be billed to the card on file to all active students unless written confirmation of cancellation is made to email@example.com. NO EXCEPTIONS. Annual Memberships are important to insure each athlete in the studio as well as permit an annual equipment improvement budget. Thank you for seeing the added value that your membership provides your children.
The Peach Pit is happy to consider a refund for unused fees for classes, camps or parties with 30 days advance notice. All refunds requested after the class has passed or cancelled will not be considered. Registration fees, uniform and competition fees are non-refundable.
Birthday Party deposits and reservation fees are non-refundable but may be transferable within 14 days advance notice in writing. Please contact for more information.
The Peach Pit charges credit cards for unpaid balances on a rolling basis. You may charge all leotards, t-shirts, grips, athletic tape, gear or apparel to your Peach Pit account. You may pay by check or cash prior to the service to avoid your debit or credit card being charged. There is no prorate for a short month or holidays (except December) as it all evens out over the course of one calendar year.
Open Gym & Toddler Times
All participants in Open Gym or Toddler Time must be supervised by an adult and a registered member of The Peach Pit. Sign In for Open Gym, Toddler Time & Adult Classes is required at the front of the gym upon entrance into the studio. By signing in and attending Toddler Time or Open Gym, you are accepting responsibility for a $15 drop in.
Late Pick Ups
If you are going to be late to pick up your child, please call or text 404.697.3697 to notify us of the change in plans. If you are more than 15 minutes late, you may be charged $1/minute for a staff member to supervise your child.
2 Makeups are allowed per session and only may be scheduled in advance of absences via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Private Lessons require payment at the time of booking and a 24 hours advance notice of cancellation in writing via email or a 100% charge will be incurred. All completed and booked private lessons will be on your calendar, ours and your coaches to prevent confusion. Please be sure to check the location for specific studio. Please submit all requests in writing to email@example.com.
Thank you for respecting our membership and payment policies. The Peach Pit reserves the right to terminate a student or member family at any time at our discretion. Thank you!
Early Care & Learning Exemption Acknowledgement
The Peach Pit Gymnastics, LLC and The Peach Pit Brookhaven, LLC are not licensed child care facilities. Members of The Peach Pit Gymnastics & The Peach Pit Brookhaven understand that we are not required to be licensed by the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning and our programs are exempt from state licensure requirements.
