Dance Classes
Dance your heart out at The Peach Pit! Whether you are looking for an introduction to dance through Magical Ballet or Little Hops, or you want to shine on the stage with our Dance Company, we have a perfect fit for every little dancer. Dance classes participate in two recitals each session complete with costumes, music, choreography, and the big stage!
Magical Ballet
(Ages 3-5)
45 minutes
In this magical class your child will learn amazing ballet technique. This class fosters the imagination with the use of fairytales, stories, and props while teaching the fundamentals of ballet.
*Performs in Peach Pit Dance Recital.

Required Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet shoes required
Hip Hop
(Ages 6+)
55 minutes
Come on and groove! Beginner dancers will get a chance to work with popping, locking, and breaking, while exploring movement to upbeat and current music! This class develops coordination and rhythm while encouraging dancers to express their individuality.
*Performs in The Peach Pit Dance Recital.

Little Hops
(Ages 3-5)
45 minutes
Calling all little movers! This class is specially designed to develop rhythm, balance, and coordination for beginner dancers; while exploring popping, locking, breaking, and movement to upbeat and current music!
*Performs in The Peach Pit Dance Recital.

Required Attire: is solid black activewear and black hip hop dance sneakers
Jazz
(Ages 6+)
55 minutes
Come join us for an upbeat class focused on learning the precision and rhythmic flare of Jazz technique! This beginner level Jazz class will teach strength, flexibility, coordination and musicality through the rhythmic patterns of fundamental Jazz dance.
*Performs in The Peach Pit Dance Recital.
Required Attire: Jazz shoes, all black fitted activewear - including leotard and black tights or leggings and fitted top
Ballet
(Ages 6+)
55 minutes
Ballet 1 and 2 are designed for dancers 6+ years old to learn the fundamentals of ballet technique, terminology and the structure of a ballet class through creativity and imagination. Dancers will work to establish coordination, balance, flexibility and musicality in this class.
*Performs in The Peach Pit Dance Recital.
Required Attire: Black Leotard, Tights, Bun & Pink Ballet Shoes
Tap
(Ages 5+)
55 minutes
Step into the exciting world of tap! This beginner-level class introduces dancers to foundational steps, terminology, rhythm, and foot and ankle coordination. Through fun, music-filled exercises, dancers develop timing, confidence, and a love for making music with their feet!
*Performs in The Peach Pit Dance Recital

Dance Company
(Ages 5+)
Times Vary
The Peach Pit Dance Company is a dance based competition & performance ensemble providing elite training in all styles of dance with a core focus on ballet, contemporary, jazz, and acro. Company dancers receive exclusive training opportunities with renowned teachers in the area throughout the year. Our Competitive Teams compete across Atlanta through the Spring and perform in the annual Peach Pit Holiday & Spring Recitals.
Please note that practices and rehearsals are held in our 1017 Collier Studio.
